Internet Marketing Persistence

How easy is to become frustrated and just throw in the
towel? After all, if you are not getting what you want then
what is the point in pressing on? The fact is that most
people that attempt to start a business will never see
their first pay check. They will never make it past the
quitting point. Success is always waiting around the corner
or those that can make it around the block. The article
that you are reading today is the third draft, the first
was accidentally erased and the second was deleted when the
computer decided it needed to restart. What does this tell
you?

Business on the net is just as challenging as any offline
business if not more so. The benefit to working on the web
is that you will not be required to come up with a boat
load of money to start. What you will be expected to come
up with is time. What kind of time? Any right minded
business consultant would advise you that any firm will
need at least a year to see profit. If one year sounds like
it would be out of the question then this is not the
industry for you. If you are not scared yet then let’s take
a look at how you can remove some obstacles you never knew
were coming.

What kind of nasty traits? Have you ever driven up to a
drive thru restaurant and noticed there was a long line and
decided there was no way you were going to wait? It is a
difficult urge to fight because we want it right now! What
if you pulled up waited a moment and noticed three other
cars thought the same thing you did however, they actually
drove off? What does this do for you? Well you have been
given the opportunity to move to the head of the line in
about a quarter of the time you suspected it may take.

All else aside, instant gratification can cause instant
failure for many. Marketers have been drilling this into
your head since birth. Products
have been designed to be distributed and used on a moments
notice so this lack of patience is not entirely your fault.
Your key to success is going to be to leave this mind set
at the door because as soon as you fall back into it you
are set to fail. As bad as our lack of patience is the
influences around you can be even worse. What will you say
when your significant other asks when you are going to stop
playing on the web? Be ready to tune out the negativity
that may arise.

The best thing you can do is to take all of the can not’s
and turn them into cans. Each time you experience a set
back, each time a goal is missed turn it around and use it
as the fuel you need to move forward. If things are not
going the way you plan then do more….write more, create
more, and produce more.

Stare your fear in the eye any time you encounter it and
think about what you would do if you did not have the fear.
It will be the same mindset you will need to have when you
feel like you do not have the patience to write an article
or make a post. Keep plugging away and enjoy the freedom
your new business will provide you when you start to make a
profit.
