Three Methods to Boost No Traffic into Highway Traffic

Posted on March 26, 2008 | Filed Under Traffic Generation

Creating a blog from scratch is difficult and will not
result in immediate waves of traffic. The beginning stages
are frustrating and cause many site owners to quit before
their blog got a chance to blossom. How can you ensure your
blog matures and draws in the traffic you need to make a
profit? There are three methods that can be used repeatedly
to enhance site traffic…guaranteed to work every time.

The first step and by far the most important is to produce
content over and over again in the form of blog posts and
articles. Continually placing new content on the blog will
keep a fresh flow of information and writing articles will
gain brownie points with the search engines and will
increase traffic. Sites that are not listed in any search
engine can be found in a just a few weeks when articles are
written and submitted to some of the major article
directories. Please do not expect to see a flood of traffic
after writing three articles, realistically you can expect
to write a few hundred before you begin to see the results
you desire. It sounds like a ton of work however, the more
you write the easier it becomes and before long you will be
able to create an article in just a few minutes. Don’t
forget that many article directories have ezine editors
that grab your articles in order to publish in their ezines
which can rocket traffic as well.

The next step to boost traffic is to partake in blog
commenting on blogs of similar interest. Do not
underestimate the power of a comment as referrals flow in
and you continue to back link build you will understand
exactly why this is recommended. Be certain to write
compelling comments as it is this type that is likely to
cause readers to check out your blog. The blogosphere has
also seen a you comment I follow movement which means many
blogs will give you that back link without any additional
effort on your part. Refrain from spam and comment often to
reap the benefits from this traffic generation method.

The third part of this traffic producing article is simply
partaking in blog carnival hosting and submission. Google
runs one of the best known carnivals and will allow you to
submit in a form that takes just a few seconds. The are two
bonuses in using this method as well, they are increasing
traffic and back link building. Hosting the carnival is
just as easy as submitting as you will be provided with the
necessary coding you will need to plug it into your site.
When the carnival edition is posted you can let Google know
and they will happily refer visitors to your site.

Be certain to use these three methods over and over and
before long your traffic will be rolling in. The easiest
way to continue is to make this a part of your daily blog
routine. If you fall of track then just continue where you
left off. Expect to work in order to see results and you
will not be disappointed.
